Similar to someone's previous post on pursuing LEED CI , the hotel doesn't want to do any major work, but rather try and pursue certification as is. They occupy 90%+ of the building, however they lease. That's where my confusion comes in. Thanks!

I think you're on the right track Amanda - Clearly this is an EBOM project (rather than CI, as you are not planning a major fitout or renovation). And if your client has control over +90% of the GSF, you are in the game. I can imagine plenty of potential pitfalls in a situation where even a major tenant doesn't have owner support in pursuing certification, but in theory it is workable.

Thanks for your input Dan! I think we will have to do a thorough analysis before we register for a particular rating system.
