Hello everyone,
Looking to understand better the requirements on the Sample testings side for this pilot credit. Do we need to submit an actual testing sample performed, with results? or just a sample as in a cut/sheet of the testing product. Credit language seems a bit confusing.
Thank you,

Only the policy is required, but I am wondering if there is any acceptable testing method that is less expensive that an ATP meter .

I was under the impression that the testing results were required for this credit. I have always provided it with submissions. I am curious if other people have been awarded this credit WITHOUT providing testing results? The language is a bit unclear and it would definitely speed up submission if truly only the policy is required.

I recently asked the USGBC about the INpc137 Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Space for Emerging Pathogens pilot credit. Here the aswer:
Thank you for contacting USGBC regarding the documentation requirements for the INpc137 Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Space for Emerging Pathogens pilot credits.
Yes, the credit is asking teams to provide the testing results from a few occasions. As you saw in the Documentation/ Compliance section, it says to provide a "Description of surface testing process with a sample of the test results. [For an example surface testing process see Resources tab]"
In the Resources Tab, the last item links to the 6-page document 'Green Cleaning Guidance for Safety First Pilot Credit: Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Space ? Quantitative Testing of the Cleanliness of Surfaces.pdf' On page 1, you'll find this guidance:
If you are documenting a project that will not be occupied by the time you submit for certification, please make a note of this in the Special Circumstances notes field in the LEED Online credit form.

My understanding is we need to set up the policy and if presented with another pandemic, the owner would implement the policy and do the testing as stated in the policy.

The reviewer for my project requested the sample ATP test results, after we submitted with policy only.

Then this credit can only be submitted as a Construction Phase credit I would assume.
