If we are making repairs to the exterior of the roof, can we then account for the entire roof as a roof assembly where Exterior sheathing/surface is one layer, structural elements is 2nd layer and ceiling of gyp or grid is 3rd layer? With ea. layer being accounted for in square footage, much like the wall assembly example in the reference guide? Thank you.
