Rheaply Research: Surplus and Reclaimable Building Materials

Hello, Rheaply is looking to connect with stakeholders who might be able to participate in the Phase I research. If you are interested, please use the links below and sign up using the link to the form. Please share with anyone in the built environment you think contribute knowledge to this effort.

Rheaply is collaborating with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant to develop a software platform that empowers recirculation of surplus and reclaimable building products by construction industry stakeholders. Our Phase I research will focus on:

  • assessing the feasibility of reliably estimating the embodied carbon avoidance from using a reclaimed building material (found on the platform) versus an equivalent new product or recycled-content product
  • gathering user feedback, product requirements, and usability results from built environment stakeholders

You can find more information about the program from this short video

To accomplish this work, we are asking Built Environment Stakeholders like you to participate in a few exercises to collect the valuable information we’ll need to move this effort forward.

If you’d like to participate, please fill out this form and we will reach out to you shortly with the next steps.
