A company called K&N is manufacturing HVAC filters which have a minimum 15 year lifespan - they are washed out when they load up, rather than disposed of in landfills. Has anyone used these filters in their projects or claimed waste stream diversion credits? I would be interested in hearing about users' experiences - ROI, waste stream diversion and carbon/life cycle data.
