Kim, the "extraction/harvest" point for a petrochemical product like carpet fiber is the place where the petroleum or natural gas was pumped out of the ground. The chemical plant making the chemical precursor is part of the manufacturing chain. Any of the Dalton carpet companies worth their salt relative to LEED should be able to provide a breakdown of this data for you to use for your project calculations.

Stella, that depends on which credit option you are following, and how much detail you want to go into on the LEED Online form. It's a simple question, but not a simple answer—sorry!
