My understanding from the FAQ and response to the "Rainwater used for irrigation" comment is that rainwater reused on site (for sewage conveyance) is considered to meet the credit requirements.
I have not found any indication that this is indeed the case in the LEED Reference Guide, nor have I found any CIR on this topic. Can someone please confirm that reused water does indeed meet the credit requirements and - if possible - provide the basis for this?

It definitely does, though you raise a good point—where does it say that? I'm not sure. But nowhere does it list every possible method you could use to use the water onsite, either.
