Previously Developed Buildings exemption

What is meant by 'previously developed buildings'? We have a project where there are existing residential buildings on a site that will be demolished for new residential buildings. Would this constitue 'previous developed buildings'? Or is the criteria only exempting those 'previously developed' existing buildings which remain within the project boundary?

The definition, which you can see if you roll your mouse over the wording in your post, refers to the land. In your case it would be previously developed, based on the existence of buildings on the land.
