Our project is on a large master planned site. Parts of the site had single family homes and fuel tanks years ago. Foundations still exist and some remediation is still going on with respect to the tanks. However, parts of the site are greenfield. As we know from SS5.1, the site can be comprised of both and be required to acknowledge both. So with respect to this credit, are we previously developed?

Michelle, with respect to a mixed site like this I think you are safest calling it previously developed.

How much % of the previously developed land do we need to have to be able to consider the site previously developed?
Our site is also not homogenous. Previously developed land (asphalt parking lot) makes ~22% of the LEED project Site. Can we pursue SSc2 credit for such project?
Thanks!

There is not a minimum required area of previous developement for a site to be considered previously developed. For a site larger than 1 acre, then only the area that meets the definition is previously developed. Reference ID: 100001040 for more information.
