Would a interior applied plaster fall within the requirements of a flat or non-flat paint under EQc4.2? Would it be considered a paint at all? Or would it be a coating of some sort? Or would be exempt altogether?
It's a trowel applied finish made of crushed marble and gypsum and some gooey stuff that holds it together

Lauren, coincidentally this question just came up on another LEEDuser forum and I think provides the information you need. Seems like plaster is a "coating," though it's not necessarily clear what the VOC limit is. Many plasters should have very low VOCs, however, which should help.

This link is broken. I think Tristan is referring to the GWB joint compound question on IEQc4.1.
