EBOM-2009 SSc7.2:Heat Island Reduction—Roof

Partially certifying building

Upper floors of building are utilized as hotel and lower floors are utilized as office. Owners are diffrent. Only the office is going to certified under LEED EB except hotel. In this case, the office dosen't have any roofs surface. It is possible to attempt SS 7.1 credit?

LEED-EBOM applies only to whole buildings. The rule is that 90% of the building (by gross floor area) must be included in the LEED-EBOM project. See section "VIII. Multitenant Buildings" in the Reference Guide for more information.
