We are working on a LEED v4 BD+C Museum project in Fort Hood, TX. The project consists of Art Gallery, Exhibition spaces, Class-rooms and Offices.
There is No Local code for Parking.
The base ratios recommended by the Parking Consultants Council, as shown in the Institute of Transportation Engineers’ Transportation Planning Handbook, 3rd edition, Tables 18-2 through 18-4 do not have Museum building type.
How should we figure out minimum parking capacity for this project to meet the credit requirement?

Hi Elizabeth, good question and this seems to be coming up a lot for other projects too. Unfortunately, I have yet to see any clear direction from GBCI on addressing project types that are not included in the ITE Table. As I suggested to Sefa below, I would recommend contacting GBCI on this. Please report back so that others can learn from their response as well. Thanks!
