I have tried to figure out but cannot wrap my head around another subject. MPR 6 requires sharing actual whole-project energy and water usage data for a period of at least 5 years. I do not see that option within this credit. Since it is available in BD+C projects I am not sure what possible reason there could be for excluding it from ID+C projects. Perhaps it is an oversight?
I would argue that it should be an option.

I think it was intentionally excluded by USGBC, but I don't know the reasoning. I think contacting them to clarify, and/or requesting a CIR, would be a great way to force the issue.
