NC-2009 MPR2:Must be a complete, permanent building or space

Modular Homes

We are looking at a local modular home design. I have seen modular homes on line being advertised as LEED certified. I am assuming that these homes once erected on a permanent site became certified to match this MPR's requirements. The design in and of itself cannot be LEED certified without land to sit on. I am seeking clarification on that.

John, that's correct. A building can't be certified without sitting permanently on a site.
