Dear all,
I have a manufacturing project which is LEED BD+C certified and going for recertification under LEED O+M v4.1. On the ARC platform, does the energy and the water used for the manufacturing production itself have to be entered ?
Manufacturing energy and water consumption is more than 50% of the total building energy and water consumption. As I understand, the ARC score is generated by comparison with other buildings types (i.e., not manufacturing). Counting production consumption greatly decreases the score when comparing to other buildings type but doesn't reflect the building's performance itself.
Thank you in advance for your answer,
Salomee

I believe there are Alternative Compliance Paths (ACPs) for these types of projects.
Water ACP: https://www.usgbc.org/credits/existing-buildings-interiors-existing-buil...
Energy ACP: https://www.usgbc.org/credits/existing-buildings-interiors-existing-buil...
It is recomended to reach out to GBCI for a call in uniques projects such as this.
Good Luck!
