Can anyone direct me to a source for compliant 1 1/8" T&G plywood floor sheathing.
Also hoping to find compliant mdf base and door casings.
Thank You

Phil -- help us help you. What's proving difficult in finding what you need? What brands are available to you and what questions do you have regarding their LEED compliance?

Thanks for your prompt reply Tristan. Didn't expect to hear back from you on a Sunday.
I have to think that others have been here and have resources to share on this. I'm asking vendors for cut sheets on their products to assess voc compliance, recycled content, reclaimed materials, etc. and they send me sheets that don't even address what I was asking for. I'm assuming that most floor sheathing, (plywood, osb), has glues, resins, and binders that probably aren't voc compliant in regards to IAQ and EQ credits. And many use vague terms like "voc compliant".
I need numbers. I understand that LEED user might not want to endorse specific brands but can someone give me some guidance on how I might obtain this information. Or give me the results of their research.
Thank You

This IS very challenging! Many manufacturers ignore these info requests, supply vague or incomplete data (including MSDS, which are often inadequate), or say "it's proprietary," as if that somehow makes it OK to be opaque about product contents. If I get that type of response, I refuse to use the product. That doesn't help in the short run, but the hope is that it will help turn things around in the longer term -- as will the new LEED MR credits. Meanwhile, if you can find local suppliers who care about the issue, they should help out ... and of course some products are pre-vetted by BuildingGreen! (See Designer Pages.)
