LEED v4 Regional Priority Credits?

The v4 Regional Priority Credits do display in LEED Online for v4 registered project teams. The v4 RPC lookup on usgbc.org/rpc is being worked on right now and should be up by the end of the quarter.I got some information from USGBC on how RP credits differ in v4 from v2009.In LEED 2009, RP credit zones were identified by ZIP Code in the U.S. This system led to numerous problems for project teams, as ZIP codes are prone to changing when an area’s population grows or shrinks. Additionally, this system was somewhat arbitrary, as it did not use any empirical data to determine where environmental issues did or did not occur. Finally, projects outside the U.S. were not able to identify RP credits using this system, forcing them into using a generic set of credits that did not necessarily address issues occurring in that country.
The RP credit zones in LEED v4 were created using a GIS-based program that allowed for environmental issues to be empirically mapped. This process created RP credit zones that are based on these issues rather than physical location. The GIS-based zones do not have to be geographically adjacent, meaning that ZIP code can no longer be used to identify a project’s RP credits. Instead, the project’s physical coordinates (X, Y) need to be entered to accurately identify RP credits.

Another minor thing is that the applicable thresholds based on point thresholds instead of percentages – so, for example, a project gets the regional priority credit for “the 2 point tier” of XX credit, rather than “the 40% reduction tier”.

Any update on the status of the availability of a v4 regional priority credit database? Nothing is available on the USGBC website; it is my understanding you that at this point you must register your project before you can see the RP credits for your project. Thanks!

On my system, the location mentioned by Tristan works perfect. So go to usgbc.org/rpc and select your project location. A list of Regional Priorities will emerge. Good luck!

If my organization does not yet have a LEED v4 registered project, you're saying I am unable to view the regional priority credits for v4, even if I use the coordinates while searching? We are attempting to present a "comparison" for upcoming projects to decide which system to use and it would really be beneficial to see what RP credits are available as a cross reference.

The website named in Tristan's response above - usgbc.org/rpc works. That brings you to an interactive map where you can do a search for your project address, which in turn brings up the associated Regional Priority credits. Wish this information is also posted on the USGBC LEEDv4 FAQs.

I go to the https://www.usgbc.org/regional-priority-credits and fill in all the information, but it is informed that "No credits found. Please visit our credits directory to find more credits." I tried the location with the name Hanoi, or the geo location attracted from LEED online, but it does not work. Could you please help?
