There is a new data center extension to an existing building of a different use (office). The extension is accessible via a corridor. The buildings do share an electrical box. Can I still make 1 certification for each building?

Caroline, how about things like the name of the facility, the HVAC systems, plumbing systems, etc — are they shared or separate? If it is as simple as you said, and they just share a corridor (which I assume has a fire door) and one electrical box, they can probably have separate certifications.Regarding that electrical box, I would look closely at the LEED v4 credits and prerequisites around energy metering, and make sure that the new facility will have the metering capability needed to comply.
