LEED V3 or V4 for LEED CS project

Hi Kemberly, I'm planning to register a LEED CS project in China that needs precertification as soon as possible. The project was assessed under LEED V3 when the owner decided to pursue LEED in the design development phase right before LEED V4 came out. I need to find out if I must update/re-evaluate the credit template under LEED V4 in order to register the project and to apply for precertification? Please clarify.

Jin, you can currently register a project for either LEED 2009 (which you are referring to as v3) or LEED v4. So you are free to proceed with your LEED 2009 work, or if you want to pursue LEED v4, I would probably recommend updating your work, as the systems are very different.
