Hi folks,
People have been complaining about this problem on the EAp2 page forum, so I thought I'd try to give it a better home here. Sounds like there have been some promises of when it might come back online with dates that have come and gone, so they must still be struggling with something.
I overheard something at Greenbuild about a security update that went awry. Anyone else have updates to share?

I just spoke to a USGBC representative and they were told it would be up and running by today (11/25). This of course did not happen. The representatives are also kept in the dark and have heard A LOT of complaints! They said keep checking every two hours to see if it will be up and running. I unfortunately don't have any faith in this promise! I only have an annual subscription to the LEED credit library so I am extra annoyed since I can't reference credit language.

Gwenedd, you can check credit language here on LEEDuser, if that helps!

Thanks Paula. I have been using LEED User's credit language to fill in the gaps. However, the LEED online version has great additional LEED language details/explanations that are not posted on this website.

Anyone know if this is affecting the return of reviews? I imagine reviewers use the same system to type in their comments.

We just got this memo as a USGBC Education Partner. At least it explains why this has been just an extended outage!

It's not the full Credit Library, but the link to the pdf "LEED v4.1 BD+C rating system tracked changes" from the usgbc(dot)org/leed-v41 web page is working, which shows the credit language for both version 4 and 4.1 with Tracked Changes. Can be helpful in a pinch!

I hope there will be more information sent to all of us using (or have used) LEED Online. We are particularly concerned about the security of the project information. Has anything been compromised? And what about all the credit card information?

I even sometimes get more confidentiality concerns from my commercial clients. I sure hope they do some 'splainin' to everyone. There's no this will go unnoticed by the gov't clients. I know this will add to the hesitation of some of the clients to sign all those certification agreements.
They finally added the statement above provided by Nadav to the website, itself, so at least they're not locked out of their own stuff. I've been seeing the USGBC site get increasingly accessible in the last 24 hours or so. Still having trouble with TRUE and a few others, particularly for actual resources (versus just the main page). Maybe everything's returning in bits and pieces...

In response to Andrew Caven,
Yes I believe it is affecting review return dates. We had a review with an anticipated return date of 11/20. Obviously, this was after their network went down. On 11/21 we asked to receive a new anticipated return date and GBCI replied with:
"All USGBC systems are currently down while we make upgrades to our websites. Our IT Team is working to have everything back up by Friday (11/22), please feel free to check back at that time for further updates. We apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your continued patience"
We have still yet to receive the review back.

Yeah, when LEED Online is down it's down for reviewers too. I would expect return dates to push out by 2 weeks (or whatever the duration of the outage ends up being).

It is early February 2020, and LEED Online is still not 100% up and running.
I just spent over an hour trying to register a new project. (yes, spoke to the nice person on the Helpline, but he couldn't help much. "Try again tomorrow?")
A couple weeks back I got only error messages when trying to access the LEED Credit Library.
Help....

I occasionally have issues with registering and/or submitting for review, but only once it gets to the payment page. It just gets stuck and cycles and cycles and cycles at the step after I've submitted the payment info. So far, it hasn't caused issues (like charging multiple times), but it still makes me nervous. It occurs inconsistently, but I noticed it mostly so far when I try to use an AmEx for payment. I've found that I can complete these functions in another browser; Firefox worked best for me in the past. Our company just banned Firefox, so I'm not sure what'll happen if I have to do a workaround again. Try using Chrome, Firefox or Safari and see what happens?
I've similarly often not been able to open the review reports as a PDF. I have to switch to a different browser to get that to work, too.

Been having more than my usual share of issues saving forms lately, too (in Internet Explorer).
And after 10 years of using LEED Online I'm not sure I'd call this NOT 100% up and running...this feels par for the course...

I, too, have had issues (Safari user) and have since just succombed to utilizing the offline forms. Although it has been OK, it is certainly not ideal and doesn't come without other LEED Online issues. I have had trouble downloading forms through Safari and like other, have to open other browsers to make it work. I am communicating with GBCI on what their plan is to resolve these issues as well as the rumor that IE is going away and that Edge will be taking over. I will update this community with any information I receive.

Still not working for me in Chrome with that same URL. Explorer seems to be working. Good call on trying Explorer, it's the only browser that has worked for correctly displaying the online reference guide content so far.

Not working on safari for me, but Firefox (which I never use) seems to be working....I'm not a big fan of the update to the credit library, I think there are still some shortcuts and bugs needing to be ironed out for it to be as user friendly as the last version...

Finally got through using Explorer. Refreshing and go-back-screen most times will provide access to the Credit info pages (who knew?).
I too am not a great fan of the new update - the most commonly used rating systems (BD+C New Construction) is half-way down the menu, and not readily recognizable when you're scrolling fast.

I had the same issues with the credit library not working. The latest suggestion I heard from USGBC was to refresh cache/cookies, which can be done in the settings on your browser. I am using Safari and was finally able to get in this morning.

Thank you Tiffany! That worked for me as well. I had emailed USGBC a while back (weeks...maybe couple months) on a specific credit not working (not realizing it was the whole library) and they haven't responded yet so this was quite helpful! thanks!
