LEED Certification over a 5 year phased construction schedule

We're getting ready to register a project (single tenant in a multi story building) under LEED 2009 but the multiple floors/phased project won't be complete for 5 years total. Can we still certify the whole project under one registration?The project will be designed under LEED CI 2009.
