We have campus project that we will have only one building LEED certified. But the site is too large. The building is only 0.2% of the site. Can we create an imaginary LEED boundary with building area at 2% of the LEED boundary area? Thanks,

Yes, the LEED boundary is "imaginary" by nature -- it is drawn just to LEED specifications and does not have to correspond to other surveyed boundaries. Include the construction scope for the building but you do not have to include an entire campus.

Thanks for that. Is there an exception to have the building area less than 2% of the site?

Can you describe more details on the project? More context would help answer your question. Are there other buildings on the site, for example?

Yes there are 3 other small buildings each one is 3000 sf at most and won't be part of the LEED certification. The building subject to LEED certification is about 7,600 sf. I don't think it needs to be campus project, now I am looking at the requirements.
