Landfill Site Certification

We've been approached by a landfill company to perform a consulting for LEED certification of new projects. The project for the site contains an administrative building and the landfill area per se. Is the landfill area taken into account for the certification!? Or would it just comprise the administrative building? Thanks in advance!
