Indoor Overheating risk analysis and mitigation; future weather files

1. Does anybody have good examples of buildings designed to prevent overheating in current and future climates in the US or Canada?  
2. What methods were used, how was the user and client experience, and what were the results?

we are especially interested in vulnerable populations risks in schools, care home, multifamily. Several other countries have overheating standards for new construction and sometimes for retrofits/additions, and some require the use of future weather files, but the US lags way behind.\
