Yes, definitely. Make sure to provide plenty of signage to prevent smoking in the building and near entrances, including any balconies.

You can earn the credit this way, just make sure that smoking is truly prohibited and that occupants will clearly understand that they can't smoke in their individual units.

Hello, We are currently doing a feasibility study of making a G+30 Hotel LEED certified. The project is in design phase and located in the UAE. The Client is adamant that he is going to have smoking allowed inside a Pub and 20% of hotel rooms. Please advise if this is possible and also which rating system we should go for in this case. CS or BD+C.?? Thanks, Bassam
