Carlos—I agree with Summer’s recommendation below (http://www.leeduser.com/comment/redirect/71714) to seek guidance from your GBCI review team. You will be expected to update all documentation affected by the change in floor area to ensure that the floor area is consistent across all credits. This may include energy models, MRp1 waste calculations, and any other credit calculations that use the gross floor area as an input.

Hello Jon,
I am in the same pickle with modifying gross floor area during preliminary review because a previous engineer got it wrong in the first place. The link you provided does not work now. Do you have another link with the Summer's advice? If I go ahead with modifying the gross floor area, and then update all documentation affected by the change to the corresponding credits, are there any other consequences I should look out for?

Edgar, the advise was this: "I would alert your GBCI review team as to the circumstances of the project size modification and ask for project specific guidance. This can be done through the Help tab at LEEDonline."

is there a speedier way to contact the GBCI review team other than e-mail via the contact us link at USGBC website?
