I was just wondering if anyone else has used the Ornilux Bird Protection Glass on their projects. If so - have you found it to be as effective as you thought it would be? Our client had a few strikes from small local birds for a short time after opening, but has since seen no strikes. If you have used this product what have you experienced?
Are there other bird protection glasses people are using? If so what are they and have you found them to be effective.

the only true deterrent is one that birds can see, and that disrupts the reflection off the outside pane on bird flightline approach; this is why draperies, interior applications or glass impregnation solutions result in such low performance results - thus the poor performance of Onrnilux, and once cost is factored, should likely not be considered for most projects. Only surface blocking or disruptive solutions perform as bird deterrents, and their are options available that provide custom aesthetic , architectural accenting and even guaranteed performance that adhere to the outside of glass providing the desired protection with lifetime ratings of performance.
