Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone has gotten push-back on or been asked for clarification for fabrics when pursuing the furniture category. Basically, will an acceptable third-party certificate (e.g. Greenguard/Gold, SCS Indoor Advantage Gold, etc.) cover all fabric selections for a specific product, or does each fabric need separate VOC emissions testing? Normally, as the fabric is one component of an assembly, I wouldn't seek out separate emissions testing, but it seems unlikely that manufacturers would test every fabric or finish combination for a specific furniture product.
Any insight, especially from manufacturers or from representatives of VOC emissions testing programs, is greatly appreciated!

I'm crossposting this on CI-V4 as because it's also relevant to Commercial Interiors.
