CI-2009 MRc1.2:Building Reuse—Maintain Existing Interior Nonstructural Elements

Full height glass partitions

Would full height glass partitions be calculated both sides as a partition wall, or one side as glazing?

As long as they are interior elements, they would be calculated the same way as interior walls - count both sides.

Thanks April. My guess would have been one side only, because unlike a framed wall, altering just one side (i.e replace the drywall). is not an option with glass.

Good point. When you consider the wall as one component (as opposed to drywall being a 2-sided component with finishes on either side independent of the other side), I would count one side of the glass. Sorry for the confusion!
