There are quite some LEED credits relate to carpark provisions within project building. Obvious those are SSc 4.3, SSc 4.4 and SSc 7.1. My idea is that no provision of carpark facilities is good for environment as this will somehow encourages use of public transport. But I feel like one of my project is being penalized by not providing carpark to gain points from SSc4.3 (providing preferred parkings) and SSc 7.1 (covered carpark). I would be disappointed if it is the case. Any comments or sharing ?

William, each of the credits you reference has options for treating non-parking hardscape, for providing no new parking, etc.In fact, not providing parking can be the best and easiest way to earn these credits, and is common.
