Our project is LEED NCv2009 and the site is designated as "Farmland of Statewide Importance", but not Prime Farmland. We are trying to clarify Prime Farmland v. Farmland of Statewide Importance. I know that LEEDv4 now lists Farmland of Statewide Importance in the reference guide but LEEDv2009 does not, it only lists Prime Farmland per USDA definition, which clearly states that in some areas, land that does not meet the criteria for prime farmland is considered to be farmland of statewide importance.
I am assuming we are ok with this part of the criteria?
