Hi all,
on the reference guide P.596, there are 5 components to pick 2 initiatives. One of them is "A case study highlighting the successes of the LEED project that could be used to inform the operations of other buildings " Did anyone use this component? And my question is how to document it, and what is the intent for this component. I mean how should i make the case study and how would i document it? kind of confusing here.

Diaa, one way that teams have met the case study requirement is through the High-Performance Buildings Case Studies Database on BuildingGreen.com (this is a DOE project and also appears elsewhere). BuildingGreen is not currently publising new case studies, so don't look to this as an option, but it should give you some idea on your question.

Tristan,
The websites for Buildinggreen.com and the U.S Department of Energy's Federal Energy Management Program "High Performance Federal Buildings Database"
(http://www.eere.energy.gov/femp/highperformance/) no longer seem to accept new case studies. Does any one know of a new website that replaces the old ones?

We host a open source database at greenbuildingbrain.org. We create Green Building Audio Tours with case studies for the Green Education ID credit application, but anyone can create a profile and add case studies on the Green Building Brain.
Any project in the US or Canada Green Building Council registry is automatically exported as a case study 'stub', which can be added to, so do a preliminary search to avoid duplication.
Thanks for reporting back about the DOE database; I didn't know it wasn't accepting new case studies.
