Our project pursued this pilot for Earthquake specific design measures. In order to meet the requirements of the Arup REDI Rating system the building would need to be able to make a "functional recovery within 6 months" in the event of damage from an earthquake. To do so our project would need to maintain a list of contractors on an IDIQ contract to complete needed repairs within the 6 month timeframe.
I could see this being a challenge for other project depending on type or scale.
