NC-2009 EAc2:On-Site Renewable Energy

EAC2 Form Definitions

The EAC2 Form asks for "Annual Renewable Energy Cost". I believe this is the SAVINGS from the renewable energy. If this is correct or incorrect, please help me to confirm or correct this understanding. If it is not the SAVINGS from renewable energy, what is it? Thanks for your help. It is the avoided energy cost associated with the renewables at the virtual rate from the Proposed model. So it is the savings.

For Marcus, or anyone, actually... Are the thresholds important? It seems that the form itself computes the credit, regardless of the thresholds. Do I have to specify a threshold? Or just pick one that I can meet?

The form calculates the percent renewables and applies the thresholds to determine the number of points awarded. So you do not have to do anything. If you have a targeted number of points then design the system output to meet it.
