NC-v4 EQc2:Low emitting materials

Doors with composite wood core

We are a manufacturer that uses composite wood door cores that we clad with a sheet material. To qualify for the low-emitting materials credit, do these doors have to be tested as composite wood or as ceilings, walls, thermal, and acoustic insulation (which also includes doors). Thanks, Christine

Christine, I'd say that composite wood is the best fit, although I would anticipate that some LEED projects may choose to document it differently.
