We have a project located on a university campus attempting this credit. The original documenters of the credit used the base building as a baseline for carbon reduction- instead of the required CLF 2019 baselines. In this approach the team has demonstrated actual carbon reductions from the original building to this rennovation. However, this methodology goes against the prescribed baseline development requirement for the credit.
On the one hand we can submitt with a narrative to see if this methodolgy may be applied to future projects. On the other hand we may need to do some rework.
I will keep the forum posted on what we decided to do.
