Curious if anyone has had success claiming some type of Industry cited / average / worst case LRV for surface finishes such as standard poured in place concrete flooring.
If not, does anyone have direct experience and know what's involved with field testing to ascertain this data? Is this something a Commissioning Authority could feasibly test/confirm in the field? Or does field testing of light reflectance value of a material require a specialist? Or perhaps a mock up sample would need to be shipped to a lab that can provide the testing?
Just wanting to verify if this is a major undertaking unless all significant finishes have manufacturer data to corroborate LRV. I suspect it is...

The link doesn't seem to work, and I've tried searching for it. Do you happen to know if they still exist and if they have a different web address now? Thanks!

I would also be interested in tracking down this catalogue! Or if anyone has access to the CIBSE Lighting guide 11?

I cited Table 2.2 Reflecting Materials from Fundamentals of Light by Susan Winchip, for LRV of stainless steel. That table cites IESNA Lighting Handbook pp 1-22, so maybe I could have just cited that. Credit is under review so I don't know if this will fly.
I have also wondered if a device such as the Color Muse and LRV Guru app would qualify for measurement purposes.

I am finding that the Spectral website does not appear to be working. We are also looking for reflectance values for concrete flooring/surfaces. Have others experienced this to be the case?

DO NOT USE THE lighting-portal link - it has been hijacked and goes to a scam for security and identity theft. PLEASE REMOVE THAT FROM THE POST thanks!

Looping back- Andrew Craven - curious to know if your Project LEED Design review referenced back in January 2020 yielded any lessons learned you'd be willing to share - were default LRV sources accepted by GBCI? Fingers crossed for your Project and the proposed strategies to meet this tricky new LEEDv4 data collection requirement!

Hello! Did anyone get an answer regarding a default reflectance value for concrete flooring? Any tips or advice are welcomed!

Joanna there are lots of standard tables of values online. There isn'r much of a detailed separattion, but I believe gray CIP is 40 as is CMU, you get the picture. Check for IES resources.

Hello Karen! Could you share a link to one of those standard values tables? We checked the The Lighting Handbook, 10th Edition but could not find reference values.
