Consideration of Manmade Ponds in Protect or Restore Habitat Credit Calculations.

In one of our project, the site includes man-made ponds, which are used as rainwater storage ponds. For the calculation of the protect or restore habitat credit, can I include this pond area in the landscape area calculation? For other credit calculations, we consider this area a non-vegetated area.
