Commissioning of PV system by different commissioning agent

We have had this question come up a few times - the owner and the PV system supplier believe that it can be commissioned by a different commissioning agent. Are we still able to achieve EAp1, EAc2 and EAc3? Hernando Miranda in his Feb 17 2014 comment implies that this is acceptable. Thanks.

Yes it can be. Depending on the situation there are often specialists brought on board to help for certain systems. The one that comes to mind readily is an envelope Cx but I could see it for PV too. There should be some level of coordination between the specialists and the primary Cx but that does not have to be anything more than a review and sign off.
