In the minimum energy performance calculator, the first tabs are about the servers. I have a "colo" data center, the empty data halls are rented out to clients, essentially tenants. We only provide the infrastructure (power supply and cooling). At this point there are no servers in the data halls and the Owner will have little or no control over what servers the tenant installs or how they are configured. Can we disregard the parts of the form dealing with the server configuration? How does LEED treat these essentially core & shell data centers?

Dear David,
I'm working on the same type of project and i really don't know how to resolve the EAp2 and EAc2 credits. I'm really interested about this answers too.
Good luck with that if I have any information about it, I will pass it on to you.
Best regards,
Marion

Like all energy loads in core and shell projects you must include an estimate of the internal loads based on your experience with similar building in that particular area. The load gets modeled identically in the baseline and proposed models. So not you can't disregard this load. You can use sources like COMNET to estimate the W/sf load in these spaces
