Hi! Can coconut fiber count as both, recycled content (pre-consumer if coming from coconut sub-products industrial process) and a rapidly renewable material as well?. Thanks

Yes, since this credit does not restrict rapidly renewable products to "new" ones in the same way that the certified wood credit does, I don't see an obstacle to this, as long as the recycled content is fairly characterized.

How does this credit treat materials that come from animals such as wool or leather?

What building components are typically purchased with renewable materials to reach the 2.5% credit threshold?

A manufacturer is claiming that certain trees, e.g. balsa, acacia, mesquite, can be harvested within 10 years, and thus contribute to this credit. Is this acceptable?
