Pilot-Credits MRpc131:Circular Products

Circular Products -Pilot Credit Attempt

Hello, I am attempting this pilot credit and am finding a couple of the pathways to be difficult to achieve. We could find no evidence of Supply Chain Circularity or Closed Loop Products on our TI project.   We were able to report 4 products with Sustainability FACTS certification from Green Circle under the Zero Waste Manufacturing category-however these were four brands under Assa Abloy, so I won't be able to count all products.  Four products were achieved via the Design for Circularity category two with cradle to cradle certification (material reutilization/product circularity) from Shaw Contract & Tarkett. And one with  with cradle to grave EPD and solid takeback program (Armstrong Ceilings).   Our categories of products that contributed to this credit were door hardware, ceiling tile, and flooring.  Would love feedback from others that have achieved this credit particularly if you have products that contribute to Closed Loop Products or Supply Chain Circularity, you are only allowed 4 products for each category within the credit.

Following up on this post. We did achieve that pilot credit on our first attempt during the final construction review phase.  I am attempting it again, and again we are only pursuing 2 categories: Zero Waste Manufacturing and Designed for Circularity. I would love to hear from some of our LEEDusers that have attempted this credit what products they might have achieved the supply chain circularity or closed loop products categories with.  Curious of thoughts on the manufacturer situtation: 5 of my 6 products are from the doors and hardware category.  All of the d/f/hdwe manufcturers are under the Assa Abloy corporate umbrella- including Sargent, Ceco, Norton Rixson, and Curries with seprate manufacturing locations.  Hoping to achieve this pilot credit again!
