The CI - Reference Guide says under chapter II. that LEED 2009 for Commercial Interiors also addresses retail.
http://www.usgbc.org/leed/certification/guidance/space-usage-type
says Commercial Interiors is appropriate for Interiors dedicated to functions other than retail.
Our LEED strategy for a retail project bases on a common CI-Scorecard. Now it is unclear if it is generally possible to certify under this System or whether we have to choose CI for retail.
Does anybody have experience with this?
Thank in advance!

Jan, LEED for Retail was launched after LEED-CI 2009 was launched. Since it has been launched and fully supported over the last couple years, retail projects are expected to use one of the Retail rating systems.

Thank you very much, Tristan.
It´s a little bit confusing that it is still in the newest CI-Reference Guide...

Which edition? That is unfortunate. Probably an oversight.
