Car wash service

Hi, We are working on a gas station that also includes a sector for car wash service. Water used for this activity is continuously recycled and reused. Only the last rinse is done with potable water that replaces the water lost through evaporation. do you believe this could be accepted for an innovation credit? Regards, Willy

What is the industry standard for new car washes? Is it truly innovative to recycle water in this way, or are most new car washes doing it?

Hi Tristan, Thank you for the reply. In Argentina this is not a usual practice, in fact this is the only carwash that the design team knows about having this system . There are no standards that regulate this system in Argentina. Is there any standard in the US that regulates carwash water systems? In this way we could probably compare the system we´ve installed to the rule specifications. Since this practice is exceptional in Argentina, could the reviewer consider it as an innovation credit? Regards,
