Can we write up this plan and use it as the basis for our EBOM?

Hi there, We are wondering if we can get a pilot credit for creating this plan by identifying everything that we are doing this year for our EBOM. Or, do we need to complete the EBOM and then make a second plan for the next five years? Thanks!

Hi Katherine, You can pursue the pilot credit now. The site improvement plan is fairly different from the existing EBOM sites credits though, so the usual activities and strategies aren't going to be enough to earn it. The work you're doing for EBOM can definitely support earning the pilot credit, but I recommend checking out the LEED-EBOM v4 Reference Guide to get a better idea of what's required for the site improvement plan now that it's been officially adopted into v4.
