I'm working on a new classroom building on a university campus. The university's cleaning service picks up trash and recycling daily from all of the classrooms, hallway receptacles, etc. in each building on campus and takes it all to a central location where it processed. With this in mind, it doesn't make sense to have a central location for sorting of recyclables in this new building as it won't be used, and the central trash/recycling center on campus is not a part of our project. How do I handle this prerequisite?

That's unusual. To fend off any objections from GBCI that could cause problems if they came too late, I would contact GBCI to clear this approach. It sounds like it makes sense, but it is, in my experience, unusual.
