How does this credit treat materials that come from animals such as wool or leather?

A manufacturer is claiming that certain trees, e.g. balsa, acacia, mesquite, can be harvested within 10 years, and thus contribute to this credit. Is this acceptable?

Biodegradable Coconut Fiber Membrane

Hello, I was wondering if you guys know if a Biodegradable Coconut Fiber Membrane commonly used for hydro seeding can be catalogued as a rapidly renewable material? Thanks in advance. Cheers.

Guillermo, a question like this always comes down to what CSI MasterFormat section you are classifying the product, and is that section included in LEED"s scope for MR credits?

We classify it under CSI Number 32.90 Planting, 32.92.00 Turf & Grasses, 32.92.19.16 Hydraulic Seeding.
