Hi there. I am working on an industrial plant 2009 LEED-NC/AGMBC 2010 certification. The plant consists of 9 building (the main production building and 8 buildings associated with its normal operations). My client intention is to have all site certificated. I need some assistance with the following questions:
1) LEED 2009 MPR states on page 19 that we are allowed to exclude small buildings from required compliance with MPRs if some conditions are met. However, only two such buildings may be included within the LEED project boundary (in this case the boundary is the entire site). I have identified 3 building that could be excluded due to insufficient floor area. So we are planning to certify 6 buildings using the Block/Master SIte tool. Would USGBC accept that?
2) AGMBC states on item 1.1.3 (Campus strategies for credits not included in Tables 1A and 1B) that "if the project teams believes that they can demonstrate compliance with a credit nos listed in the guidance as a campus credit, they may either submit the approach during the Master Site review, or submit an inquiry via the Project CIR process": Since all the buildings on this industrial plant site will be constructed simultaneously and are relatively close to each other, and are going to be built under the same construction contract, I believe that the following credits and prerequisites could be considered as campus credits:
- SS Prerequisite 1;
- SS Credit 8;
- MR Credits 4 and 5 (and maybe 6);
- IEQ Credits 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 4.5.
I would like to have your comments and opinions on my conclusions. Thank you.

Daniel, I agree with your appoach on both points—excluding the buildings, and submitting those credit as campus credits.Let us know how it goes!
