In the LEED Campus Guidance document, Appendix EA prerequisite 2: Minimum Energy Performance, delete this paragraph:

Add definition for hot-mopped asphalt for roofing:

"a mopping-grade oxidized asphalt as defined by NIOSH: "an oxidized asphalt used principally in the construction of built-up roofing (BUR) and some modified bitumen systems; mopping-grade asphalts are produced in four grades (Types I through IV), according to the steepness of the roof”.

Step 1. Evaluate Base Building Systems for AEDG Compliance -

Delete "four" from the first sentence that begins "Determine whether one of the..."

Add the sentence below after the sentence "AEDG criteria apply to the base building property, not the tenant space.":

1. Under monitoring for natural ventilation systems, revise the last sentence of the first bullet to read "This strategy is not allowed for projects using Natural Ventilation Option 3. Historic building." for BD+C rating system, and "This strategy is not allowed for projects using Natural Ventilation Option 3. Existing building." for ID+C rating system

Edit the last sentence of the first paragraph under Option 2 to read as: "Achieve the waste generation thresholds in Table 1 and create a narrative describing how a project is addressing waste prevention and/or achieving waste generation thresholds via design strategies and onsite waste minimization practices."

CORRECTION #1 OF 3:

Option 1. Achieve 55% savings in the cost metric, achieve 100% savings in the greenhouse gas emissions metric, or use actual utility rates when calculating cost savings and hourly greenhouse gas emissions factors when calculating greenhouse gas emissions savings."

After the Referenced Standards section in the Further Explanation section, add new section:

"Exemplary Performance
Achieve 55% savings."

Under Behind the Intent, Beta Update, delete the sentence "Further, while projects still need to ensure smoking is prohibited inside the building or inside the interior space, projects can opt to follow local code mandated maximum allowable distances for smoking from all building entries, outdoor air intakes and operable windows instead of the 25 feet policy in LEED."
