Which type of LEED-ND projects are not eligible for this credit?

The following LEED-ND project types are not eligible:

(1) A LEED-ND project certified under Stage 1 LEED for Neighborhood Development Pre-reviewed Plan;

(2) A LEED-ND project certified under Stage 1 Conditional Approval of LEED-ND Plan

(3) A LEED-ND project certified under LEED for Neighborhood Development Conditional Approval

(4) A registered LEED-ND project (the LEED-ND project must be certified to be eligible)

What information about the LEED-ND project do we need to provide in our application?

First, be sure to confirm that an eligible LEED-ND certification has been achieved for your project location. You should then include the following information in your submittal: the LEED-ND project name, project ID, rating system version, certification level, and certification date.

Additionally, provide a map that highlights both your LEED project boundary and the LEED-ND project boundary, which will allow GBCI to confirm that your project is compliant.

Our building wants to pursue several Location and Transportation credits, but we’re already attempting LTc1. Can we still go for other LT credits?

Projects that pursue LTc1 cannot attempt or earn any other Location and Transportation credits. But you’re still free to informally adopt any of the sustainability strategies and best practices found within the LT credits.

LEED, Carbon Accounting, and the Metrics of Progress

A case study of Legrand’s triangulation between LEED, Better Buildings Challenge, and GHG emission reduction efforts

What if my ESVE manufacturer does not offer a demand-response or time-of-use pricing option?

LEED only requires that participation in these programs is possible, even if only anticipated for the future. Therefore, the EVSE must have Wi-Fi, Ethernet, cellular modem, or another internet communication mechanism that allows the device to send usage data to a server. If the specifications on the product demonstrate that it is IP-addressable, this is acceptable.
